ABWE Thailand exists to fulfill the Great Commission through church planting and facilitating national church-planting movements resulting in missions movements to the glory of God.
We have chosen a location for our ministry!
In just a few months we will be moving to the City of Cha-am. It is located about 2 hours south of Bangkok on the west side of the Gulf. This is where we will partner with a Thai Pastor to plant a new church and launch our student ministry.
I have posted a few picture of the area - click here to view the pictures.
More information about the Semester Program will be available soon.
Student Ministry
City on a Hill gives students the opportunity to experience missions firsthand exposing them to the great harvest in Asia while ministering with students from around the world.
While living in Thailand, students will be equipped to reach the Thai people and make a difference for Jesus Christ. Cross-cultural exposure and global awareness are special emphases throughout their training and ministry in Thailand.
ESL Ministry The greatest opportunity to reach Thai people is through Teaching English as a Second Language (TESL). Since over 75% of the people in Thai churches we partner with, were saved through TESL, we can meet a critical need by using our students' natural ability: the English language!
There are also ministry opportunities with youth, children, camps and a ministry in the prison system. During their 7 months, students will also have an opportunity to take 2 short-term trips to other countries in South Asia.

Youth Ministry
To meet the need of a growing Thai church, the City on Hill team will help develop youth ministry and discipleship programs. We desire to offer seminars and conferences for youth lay-leaders throughout the country of Thailand.
Short-Term
City on Hill will coordinate short-term trips for SE Asia. Our goal is to assist the ABWE Mobilization Team in recruiting, training, facilitating and challenging the North American church to give their lives to the great commission.
