ABWE Thailand exists to fulfill the Great Commission through church planting and facilitating national church-planting movements resulting in missions movements to the glory of God.
Accident in Thailand...
“From the ends of the earth I will cry unto you O Lord, when my heart is overwhelmed. Lead me to the Rock that is higher than I, for You have been a refuge and a strong tower.”
Please go to the www.caringbridge.org/visit/lisacaynor website to get regular updates and to write notes. They will be saved there and Lisa will read all later. In the meantime I will read a few of them to her each day until she wakes up.
Student Ministry
City on a Hill gives students the opportunity to experience missions firsthand exposing them to the great harvest in Asia while ministering with students from around the world.
While living in Thailand, students will be equipped to reach the Thai people and make a difference for Jesus Christ. Cross-cultural exposure and global awareness are special emphases throughout their training and ministry in Thailand.
ESL Ministry The greatest opportunity to reach Thai people is through Teaching English as a Second Language (TESL). Since over 75% of the people in Thai churches we partner with, were saved through TESL, we can meet a critical need by using our students' natural ability: the English language!
There are also ministry opportunities with youth, children, camps and a ministry in the prison system. During their 7 months, students will also have an opportunity to take 2 short-term trips to other countries in South Asia.

Youth Ministry
To meet the need of a growing Thai church, the City on Hill team will help develop youth ministry and discipleship programs. We desire to offer seminars and conferences for youth lay-leaders throughout the country of Thailand.
Short-Term
City on Hill will coordinate short-term trips for SE Asia. Our goal is to assist the ABWE Mobilization Team in recruiting, training, facilitating and challenging the North American church to give their lives to the great commission.
